We are excited to present this work and share good practices from different corners of the Asia-Pacific region, including Cambodia, Papua New Guinea, Sri Lanka and Viet Nam. Through illustrating how UNDP has worked in partnership with governments, civil society, and women on the ground across several different contexts and themes, these articles show how gender-responsive efforts can be effectively integrated into critical aspects of REDD+. They also provide inspiration for how ambitions for integrating gender throughout the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) can be achieved, and in particular the Goals on climate change (SDG 13) and forests (SDG 15).
